By seamlessly streamlining a client’s brand objectives into a unified, creative strategy across diverse platforms, Powers shapes a compelling company narrative. This approach not only enhances brand recognition, loyalty, and equity but also drives significant ROI in the global market.
Raised in the vibrant media landscape of New York City by a successful radio and television journalist, Powers was immersed in the art of impactful storytelling from an early age. This upbringing fostered her deep understanding of compelling visuals and narrative, which has become pivotal in elevating brand recognition and media exposure for her clients.
Powers’ distinguished career includes a notable 11-year tenure as PR Director at Overstock.com (OSTK), and a role as Vice President at Oz Garcia NYC, where she worked closely with high-profile clients. Her journey in public relations began at just 16 as a Production Coordinator at Boerner PR, TransAtlantic Advertising Agency, in a setting reminiscent of “Mad Men.” Her first major success—securing a client, Alia, the Royal Jordanian Airline—earned her a coveted business card and marked the beginning of her career.
She further honed her skills by scouting and developing “lighter side of the news” segments for WNEW and FOX Local News, garnering numerous Co-Producer credits.
With a BFA in photography and writing, Powers seamlessly integrates her diverse passions into her work. At the helm of Powers Media Inc., she continues to forge new and impactful connections between brands and their audiences, driving innovation in the field of communications.
